About this journal
Impact Assessment and Project Appraisal (IAPA) is the international, peer-reviewed journal of the International Association for Impact Assessment (IAIA www.iaia.org). It covers environmental, social, health and other impact assessments, cost–benefit analysis, technology assessment, and other approaches to anticipating and managing impacts. It has readers in universities, government and public agencies, consultancies, NGOs and elsewhere in over 120 countries. It has editorials, main articles, book reviews, and a professional practice section.
IAPA is published every March, June, September and December by Beech Tree Publishing. Online issues start in 1999. All items become open access 24 months after publication. To stay up-to-date with it, you can join IAIA and receive it as a membership benefit (www.iaia.org); libraries, companies and other organisations can take library subscriptions.
